Psychotherapy is a talking therapy focused on increasing self-awareness and mental, emotional and relational well-being.
I understand from personal experience that therapy can be daunting. It is therefore important that therapy is a journey which we take together, to provide you with the tools and skills needed to equip you for a better, more fulfilling life.
My aim is to create the optimum environment and a focus on relational psychotherapy to provide my clients with the best outcome for them.
This will enable you to view your challenges from a different perspective and help you to make more useful decisions for yourself.
In our therapy sessions, we’ll work together to reduce your sense of discomfort and distress in a confidential, safe and non-judgemental environment.
How long does therapy last?
It depends on how far you want to go in the quest of understanding yourself. Usually the longer an issue has been around, the longer it takes to get to the heart of the matter.
How frequent is a therapy session?
Generally, therapy begins on a weekly basis but this is something that can be reviewed after a period of time working together.
How long is a therapy session?
I see clients in my private practice for 50 minutes a session.
What can I expect from my first session?
Our first session will last 50 minutes and you’ll be able to share what you’d like help with, and I can explain to you about the client therapist agreement.
